A mix of Bubbles, White & Red Wines, 7 in total, probably 4 reds cos that’s what they do best.. including Amarone, Chianti, Barolo.. all paired with Fromage & Charcuterie from Italy.

Established in 2016, Scott and Missy Comyns are the husband and wife team behind the bold and edgy Hunter Valley wine brand Comyns & Co, nestled in the heart of Peppers Creek, Pokolbin.
Scott has 20 plus years in the industry working for premium wine producers and accepting a swag of accolades along the way. His passion and focus for Comyns & Co. is to create exciting wines from small batch parcels of premium Hunter Valley fruit. His extensive range of wines include traditional Hunter Valley styles, alternate varieties, and unique blends.
Missy completes the team as the “Positive Vibes Manager.” Wife, Mother and now “Cellar Door Manager”. Her bubbly persona, positivity and a love of life brings warmth and honesty to Comyns & Co.
Come and join Scott & Missy and taste your way through 8 of their wines, hear the stories, and ofcourse there will be Fromage & Charcuterie share platters for everyone to enjoy.

As the weather cools down, it’s perfect timing for our annual France vs Italy Masterclass.
The first year we did this, Italy got one over France, the second year, France came out on top. Now I’m not saying this is the decider… but it’s one a piece people.
Matt has travelled most of the wine regions of both France and Italy, so you know he’s going to pull out some of his favourites for this round.

When we first opened The Old Seven, the cellar was flooded and someone had painstakingly painted a white picket fence around its entirety… that was the first thing to go on its build to what it’s become today.
Dimly lit, exposed brick walls, green chesterfields, wine barrels, vintage bar and of course… Fabio, all add to the unique atmosphere that is La Cave.
Whether it be a Birthday, an Anniversary, a Christmas Party, or any other Celebration, La Cave can suit your every need.
